Presidential Candidates

Open: Saturday, August 13^th, 2011

Close: Wednesday, December 14^th, 2011 at 5:00 p.m.

Fee: $10,000

For Presidential Candidates, qualifying is currently open. Candidates must qualify on or before 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 14^th, 2011, by turning in 500 signatures from registered Alabama voters, or 50 signatures from each Congressional District from registered Alabama voters, and $10,000, payable to the Alabama Republican Executive Committee, to the State Party Headquarters. Signature forms and qualifying fees must be delivered to State Party Headquarters by either certified mail or hand-delivery. It is strongly recommended that you hand-deliver after Wednesday, December 7^th, 2011. A sample signature form is available below, as well as a list of qualified candidates.

Again, hand-delivery is strongly recommended to ensure receipt and so that the accuracy of documents can be confirmed. Documents are mailed at your own risk. Completed qualifying documents must be delivered to Party Headquarters by the provided deadlines. No extensions can be given.
