ALGOP Statement on Results for Attorney General, Treasurer, Lt. Governor, AG Commissioner and PSC Place 2
Birmingham — With the unofficial results in, the Alabama Republican Party announces the unofficial results for the constitutional offices and Public Service Commission:
Lt. Governor:: Kay Ivey Attorney General: Luther Strange
Treasurer: Young Boozer Ag Commissioner: Runoff – McMillan/Grace
PSC 2: Terry Dunn
Rep. Mike Hubbard (R-Auburn), Chairman of the Alabama Republican Party, released the following statement on the strength of the Republican ballot:
“It is exciting to see our Republican ballot begin to take shape, and we congratulate all of these candidates on a successful Primary Election,” Hubbard said. “Although we still have several runoff elections, we look forward to working closely with each campaign as we focus on a Republican sweep in November.”
“Running a statewide campaign is no easy task, so we appreciate the effort and the willingness to serve by all of the Republican candidates represented on today’s ballot,” Hubbard said.
