The Alabama Republican Party

In response to a press release sent out today by the Alabama Democrat Party, found HERE, which attempts to politicize the tragic oil spill in the Gulf, the Alabama Republican Party issued the following:

While men and women of all walks of life come together to deal with the crisis at hand in the Gulf, the Democrat Party fires up the “blame Republican” machine – in an attempt to politicize a national tragedy. The Democrats might want to reflect on the fact that Americans lost their lives as a result of the rig explosion, and many more will suffer because of the negative impact on the environment and industry.  The Alabama Republican Party offers our thoughts and prayers to the families of those who lost their lives as a result of this tragedy, and we fully support the efforts of those who are working tirelessly during the clean up effort.
