Fox News Contributor and Political Consultant Dick Morris to Headline ALGOP’s 2010 Reagan Dinner
Birmingham, AL – The Alabama Republican Party announces today that Fox News commentator Dick Morris will be the featured speaker for the 2010 Reagan Dinner. Morris, a noted political strategist and author, will join Governor Bob Riley and other Alabama Republicans at the June 26th event to be held at the Cahaba Grand Conference Center in Birmingham.
“Dick Morris is recognized as one of the keenest political strategists in America today, so it is very exciting that his first trip to Alabama will be during this historic election year," said Rep. Mike Hubbard (R-Auburn), Chairman of the Alabama Republican Party. “Having a keynote speaker of Dick Morris' caliber will certainly make this dinner one of the largest in our Party's history and will be a great momentum builder for the November elections.”
The Alabama Republican Party's last event was held in Montgomery in February with Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty as the keynote speaker. The event set a record for funds raised as well as for attendance with over 700 people on hand. The Party hopes to surpass that record with the June dinner.
