ALGOP Launches New Party Website
Birmingham, AL – The Alabama Republican Party proudly announces the release of the newly designed www.algop.org. The Party has taken a great leap over its’ counterpart on the other side of the aisle with the new website, and emerged as not only the political leader in the “red” State of Alabama, but also the leader in technology as well. Philip Bryan, Communications Director for the ALGOP, noted that the new website was designed to be visually more appealing and assist in attracting new donors and volunteers.
“From concept to creation, we wanted a fresh design, and one that would reflect the energy and excitement that we see in our supporters and volunteers as we move towards 2010,” Bryan said. “We wanted the members of our Party to be proud of their website, but we also felt the need to expand our internet outreach program so that we can educate, attract and energize a whole new generation of voters.”
Along with the new design, the website is easier to navigate, allows for more data collection to keep volunteers informed and will allow the ALGOP to build ‘sub sites’ for any County Party that does not have the funding for their own website.
The new features of the website will be a big asset for the Alabama Republican Party in further advancing ‘Campaign 2010,’ an aggressive fundraising plan launched in 2007, and the ultimate goal of ending the Democrat’s imperial control of the Alabama Legislature.
“Let’s face it, the Democrats and union boss Paul Hubbert wrote the rules of politics in Alabama and controlled the Legislature for 113 years, but by building a marketable fundraising plan, and implementing creative ideas like this website – we changed the game.”
