STATEMENT FROM RNC CHAIRMAN MICHAEL STEELE ON K.L. BROWN’S ELECTION TO THE ALABAMA STATE HOUSE
WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Michael Steele released the following statement today:
“This evening I join with the people of Alabama in congratulating K.L. Brown on his election to House District 40. Brown’s message of lower taxes and job creation clearly resonated with voters in Calhoun County who were looking for positive solutions to difficult issues. It is clear that Alabamians are energized and ready to further Republican momentum as we move towards November’s elections. Congratulations to Chairman Mike Hubbard and his team for bringing Alabama one step closer to obtaining a Republican majority in the State House of Representatives.
