ALGOP Statement Honoring Veterans
Birmingham, AL – As we recognize Veteran’s Day, and honor those who serve in our military, Rep. Mike Hubbard (R-Auburn), Chairman of the Alabama Republican Party, released the following statement:
“With the level of political discourse rising, it is critical that each one of us pause today and thank veterans for risking, and in many cases giving, their lives so that we and millions worldwide have the freedom to express dissenting opinion. Many of us will never stand on a beach in Normandy to fight for freedom, nor will we know the pain of a war in Vietnam or the pride of putting on a uniform each day – but today we rise in respect of those who do. The Alabama Republican Party recognizes those who came before us, and those who are currently serving in our military, and we honor them with both our prayers and our praise.”
