The deadline for the campaign finance annual report is January 31^st.  All elected officials, political action committees and candidates who have met their filing threshold by December 31^st must file an annual report for 2011.  The certified mail deadline for these reports is January 27^th.

PACs and candidates should also note that if they have begun to file monthly FCPA reports, those must be filed in addition to the annual reports.

Reports for state officials, political action committees and candidates are due to the secretary of state, while reports for local offices and PACs are filed with the county probate judge.

“We remain committed to fair and honest elections,” said Secretary of State Beth Chapman. “Taking in these campaign finance reports and making them open to the public is just one of the many ways we accomplish that goal.”
